NEWSLETTER #54                                                                     JULY 2019

I hope you enjoy the holiday break :)
TERM 3 COMMENCES:  Monday 29th July
(3 week holiday break)

Exams are all done :) and we are now in to the very fun part of the year learning our show dances for the end of year performance.

SHOW 2019
The show this year will be "Thru the ages in music"
Held at the Raye Freedman Arts Centre, Epsom Girls Grammar School on....
Saturday 30th November (2 shows this day) = 10am & 2pm
(the prize giving will be at the end of the 2pm Show)
Friday 29th November - will be a rehearsal at the theatre (3.45pm-8.45pm).  We will once again practise the show in running order.  The first half will be run through twice and then the second half through twice.
All students will be dancing in both shows.

Please let me know if you are unable to take part in the show.  Your child/chidren can still attend classes and learn the dances, but just not participate in the show.

Please Note: Your child/children’s time requirements for photo day, show rehearsals and show times will be emailed to you closer to the time.
Not all students will be involved with every rehearsal – just some of the dates listed on the “Important Dates” However please keep all these dates aside as at this stage I do not know on which of these dates your child/children will be required.

HIGH HEEL CLASS (Suitable for Levels 5-9 Jazz)
We have a very fun "High Heel Jazz" class that runs on a Monday night 6.30pm-7.15pm.  This class  involves dancing in high heels rather than jazz shoes (you will need to provide your own high heeled shoes).
Let me know if you would be interested in joining this class for the show.

EXTRA ITEMS FOR THE SHOW
Anyone interested in doing an extra item for the show please contact me.  You can join another genre e.g.:  Lyrical or hip hop classes along with limbering or ballet technique even though you have not been doing this genre/class this year.

Email is the best way to contact me…… natasha@nhda.co.nz
